Legacy Brain Foundation and Marinas International Blast into Summer!
Lakefest Grapevine and Marinas International has put Legacy Brain Foundation on the map! "Legacy on the Lake" is this years theme at Silver Lake Marina on Lake Grapevine. Thanks to Marinas International and Lakefest Grapevine, Legacy Brain Foundation will be the benefactor of possibly the biggest concert of the summer in the Dallas/Fort Worth area! Along with Texas country and western singers Jack Ingram and Johnny Cooper headlining the event, there will be Nashville's newcomer Walker Hayes and other well known artists that will entertain up to 10,000 fans!
Attendees will enjoy a beautiful day on Lake Grapevine including live music, arts, and a beautiful fireworks display. Your attendance will support our great cause, while Lakefest Grapevine will enable the community to give back to further the fight against brain cancer.
Lakefest Grapevine is a remarkable event that raises funds and awareness for Legacy Brain Foundation, through fun, live country entertainment. The gates open at 5:00 for this afternoon/evening event that will be held Saturday, June 25, 2011. In addition to the live entertainment, there will be lots of food and drinks, vendor booths and an incredible display of watercraft.
Along with Lakefest Grapevine concert on the 25th, there is also scheduled a VIP pre-party on Sunday, June 5th, 4:00-8:00, at Paradise Cove in Southlake. This venue includes a live and silent auction, live music, accompanied with heavy appetizers, beer and wine. The ticket price of $25 per person is all for this fabulous day. Only 400 tickets will be sold, so make your reservations now!
Paradise Cove, a wedding and special events facility located on the banks of Lake Grapevine, has generously donated a $20,000 wedding, corporate event, or private party! Raffle tickets are being sold now for $25 each or 5 for $100.
Only 2000 tickets will be sold for this event. The party includes a sit down meal for 200 people, live music, photographer and liberations!
KSCS radio station, 96.3 will be broadcasting live from the concert! KSCS in support of Lakefest Grapevine will be advertising the event everyday leading up to June 25th. There’s more exciting news - 60 winners will have an exclusive ticket aboard a VIP party boat before the concert, with live music, food & beverages. The only way to win a ticket is by listening to KSCS!
Lakefest Grapevine is a way for people of all social strata to come together for the day and give back to our community in whatever capacity that they are able.
Not everyone can afford a $150 VIP ticket, which is why we allow people to come to Lakefest Grapevine for a $15 donation ($20 at the door) to the Legacy Brain Foundation.
